The biggest benefit to City is United losing. Just because we can't beat Fulham you can't go supporting the rags. FFS!

So to the OP, Chelsea do the double over United and that moves them above us. Spurs win their game in hand and beat us.

We finished 5th.

Still happy about the Chelsea beating the rags then as we enjoy Thursday nights on Channel 5 next season and an even more difficult battle to counter FFP rules?

I never want them to win but TBH I couldn't care less. City will get a top 4 finish if they do enough to earn one, its up to us to win it not the rags doing us a favour which they never do. I'm expecting a Chelsea win

It's not WANT them to win, it's NEED them to win. They are different things. You need to pay your bills but you don't want to. You need to clean the flat but you don't want to. We need United to win but we don't want it because we want them to do well, we need it for the benefit of the club we support, City!

People who want United to fail more than they want City to acheive are not proper fans in my opinion.

Sadly you're probably not but it's just an extension of the brainless "I hate Hughes because he's an ex-rag" thinking that many blues subscribe to.

I only want what's best for my club, whether that's an ex-rag as player or manager and if it involves the rags getting all 3 points then I'll swallow my pride and live with it.

Wanting a result that's bad for us makes you a rag-hater rather than a City fan, in my eyes.

sadly we have to wish for a united win, thats if we want to keep tevez and co at the club.
