Cheltenham 2025

Nothing anti English about my post. There is some great English jockeys both over jumps and on the flat. Harry Skeleton , Twiston Davies and Harry Cobden are all talented riders.

I get that you prefer Mark Walsh to Nico De Bonville that's for sure, I'd never have guessed

Home By The Lee has beaten Bob Olinger easily this season so unlucky getting brought down when going really well . Great to see the horse get up and and gallop around , think he is still doing another circuit! 15/2 what price oh well sums up my Cheltenham festival this year ! :(

Was a sickener that for me aswell, switched to him after Langer Dan got pulled out this morning.

Greenall & Guerro local yard based in Cheshire doing really well and have big backing with top owners including JP McManus. Jagwar always a good thing today if he jumped ok . Iroko has also won at Cheltenham and is “well in “ for the Grand National in a few weeks could be JPs main chance in race ! A yard to follow for sure ;-)

Will be keeping a very close eye on how inothewayurthinkin is running on at the end of the Gold Cup tomorrow with regards to the Grand National ;)

Well had a tenner on Jagwar and I got on Daily Present at 20's but only a couple of quid e/w

Still, it has given me a profit for the festival so far :)

Day 3 is usually my worst day as well

All my money is in JET BLUE today.
If it doesn't win I've had a shocking Cheltenham this season.
last race UNCLE BERT lol

The bookies have killed it this years Cheltenham so many favourites loosing with falls but for the drama alone it's been one of the best for me in a long time. Good to see some emerging trainers getting winners too along with the seasoned festival winners of years gone by.

I did my brains in before it even started with the unluckiest antepost portfolio ever, slowly been fighting back all week. Fact to File I desperately needed yesterday, hopefully can get on an even keel or better by the end of today.

If not, fuck it Irish Lincolnshire at the Curragh on Sunday where the proper stuff starts and there's none of those pesky hurdles to navigate! :D

Well that was a tough start. Really fancied Lulamba, couldn't believe the drift and went in again and nutted on the line by a 100/1 shot that was my cliff horse on the flat. Brutal.

Wow 100

You up to the curragh on Sunday that’s my local track. I try get up there a few times a year in the summer more so. Too early if it’s like my back garden it’s going to be soft. Next meeting I get to Punchestown for the final day of the jumps in Ireland give me jumps over flat better chances of a bigger winner

No I'll just be watching on Telly mate, I'll be at the English version at Doncaster though. You are lucky to have the Curragh in your backyard beautiful racecourse!
