Was thinking the same. Surely can’t be down to a lack of game time to put in such a lacklustre display, completely devoid of effort and after the shot cleared off the line he offered nothing. Complacent beyond belief, lethargic, disinterested.

Everyone was waiting for someone else to produce a bit of magic and collectively they didnt seem arsed if they got beat.

Fucking good job Foden wasn't having that.

Took the game by the bollocks and ensured we wouldn't be getting embarrassed. The City fan in him shining through.

Mahrez and Mendy both need to fuck off in the Summer. Both shit and both shithouses.

We avoided what would have been the most embarrassing defeat in our history. Very lacklustre performance. Clearly 10 changes contributed to that lethargic performance. However, nobody can deny we deserved to win, but Foden, Gundogan and Cancelo saved our blushes... particularly the blushes of Jesus & Mahrez, who were both shocking. Think Pep will have learnt a few things about his fringe players.

jesus isn’t the striker we need but i can see him good as a wide forward.
Saw enough from Doyle to see he’s not quite there but does have the tools to make it with us. Just experience and confidence really.

Ruined the BBC's narrative.
The ball from Cancelo to Phil was brilliant.
Fair play to CTFC - really tough opponents. Played well for 75 minutes.
Mendy and Mahrez - just not acceptable on any level.
Jesus - always going to be second choice with performances like that.
Thought Doyle looked good first half. THB solid game. Torres - tried hard and looked a threat as the game progressed.
Foden - the lad has everything and should go right to the very top.

Tough watch but we made it through - which is the main thing.

Credit to Cheltenham who should be proud of their performance.
One or two starters tonight showed they're not good enough for me.
Murphy his usual boring self offering zero insight and the biased scouse twat was clearly distraught and not professional enough to hide his bias when we scored.
