child friendly coach to CS?

I have a 5 year old who is going, and as it stands I will be driving us there and back but would rather not because it will be a long day.

Just trying to find out whether anyone is running a coach which will have little uns on it.

Or, if anyone took a young child by coach to the SF or final, what it was like for parent and child and is there anything to watch out for. He's been on long journeys in the car before but usually with mum in the back to entertain/police him.

Any info greatly appreciated.
I took my 4 year old to the semi final and final ,went with thomas cook was fine

I'm also in the same boat Ive decided to drive to make sure there is no hick ups and as my car is lpg converted it should cost the same as inbetween the train and coach..
Im going to park and get the tube to the stadium..

bit nervous as its my first time at wembley and dont want any hassle with rags when I'm with my boy hes only 8!

The Swinton branch is very much a family friendly branch. Friendly coach drivers on coaches with loos and a strict no alcohol policy on coaches. Children more than welcome.

I can only speak for myself but at 6ft 6" the comfort value is very poor for me and as my lad can be quite a handfull if he gets bored the prospect of 4+hrs on a coach just isnt doing it for me. Just gonna bite the bullet and drive.

I've decided to drive now. From what I've read here, I know my boy well enough to know he won't be able to handle a long journey like that unless it's on his terms (bog/grub breaks whenever, undisturbed kip if required, and a guarantee of scarves out the window!).

Thanks to all contributors, much appreciated.
