children supporting the darkside

My eldest son is a rag he is 21yo. He was a blue whilst at primary school but one day i returned from work to the ex missus saying he came home crying as all the boys were picking on him for supporting City and he didn't want to disappoint me by asking if he could change sides and asked his mum to ask me would i give it my blessing. I agreed immediately.

I thought he is a spineless little bastard for not having the balls to ask himself so cant be my real offspring and a few month later split from his mum as she had obviously been having it away with one of those inbreds. I should of twigged earlier in hindsight, all those noodles and octopus arseholes at such a young age should of given it away :)

Simply tell them its fine if they want to support the rags but as a result you will sell them to a travelling circus as lion feed.

All my wifes family are rags apart from her brother who was a blue. When our lad was born we agreed that we would let him choose his own club. When he was about 18 month old I came home from work and went to pick him up from the in-laws. To their immense amusement he was dressed in a rag shirt.
I didn't say a word despite them all smirking and dying for me to comment. I had a brew and waited for him to fill his nappy, and after an hour or so he duly obliged. I offered to change him and then I took his shirt off and wiped his arse with it. The look on their faces was a picture. I told the mrs that the gloves were off and he had a city shirt/baby grow/t-shirt etc within a week and I started to take him to Maine rd when he was 5. He's 20 now and still a blue.
Sir, I salute you.

just a quick question really does anyone have any children that support united, Liverpool etc instead of city? reason I ask is coz my missus is a big united fan and so are all her family except her brother, hes a blue.. and I was thinking obvs when we have a child first of all I would want it to be a city fan.... thing is I know her family to spite and piss me off would buy the child united stuff.

has this happened to anyone?

My son is a typical red mate, never been to the swamp, knows dick all about football and he was born in London.. Like most of his ilk though he will wander into the City fold when we do to them what they did to Liverpool and knock them off their fuckin perch..

brilliant story.

when my eldest daughter was a baby her dad proudly bought home an Oldham Athletic babygrow. the next evening, after her bath he dressed her in it before giving her her pre-bed bottle of milk. no sooner had she finished it than she threw up all over it and it went in the wash. imagine his disappointment when this happened again the next night and again the next time he dressed her in the babygrow.
pleased to report that she is now a nine year old seasoncard holding proper blue (and still doesn't like milk).

No but my son was bought an Italy shirt one year for Xmas. Our family being of German descent I was kinda pissed off!

My two lads are Liverpool and United fans. Although neither of them are that bothered about it really. They prefer playing to watching. Fuck knows where I went wrong. I took them to plenty of games when they were little. Bought them shirts. The eldest even got christened in his silk junior blues scarf. I can kind of understand the youngest one preferring united because he goes to school in Urmston and they are all red twats there. They even had Ole Gunner whatsit dishing out the school prizes one year. I've no idea how the eldest came to support Liverpool though. He went to school about half a mile from Maine Road.

My eldest daughter pretends to support united too. But she has no interest whatsoever and just says it to try and annoy me.

I've still got my youngest on side for the minute though. I even took her and her mate to the Watford game cos it was a quid each. She aint really into it that much though either if truth be told.

Think I've failed in life.

Not a parent myself but I'm the offspring of a city fan. I was born in the mid 80s in Shropshire. A town of football wilderness inbetween mcr liverpool, bham and...erm wales. so pretty full of Rags, scousers and villa. grew up in the 90s so it wasn't easy being "the only city fan" at school. never regret it though. Even after the last few years. Part of me is a right awkward shite so think I supported city to not be like everyone else. Oh how times have changed.
