Chinese Football - what's going on?

We paid 30 million (and probably similar wages) for otamendi mate

No ones come for Yaya probably because they can get better players and I doubt we'd sell at this stage anyway
I know mate and don't get me stared on the fee paid for Mangala but it seems like the Chinese are only interested in signing football manager players

Yaya going to china will be like bechkam to USA tbh...they will pay a good fee in my opinion...he will be far the most marketable player if ended down there

As long as they continue their big offers and we can get 40m for Yaya and Bony in the summer I've got no problem with it

My mate lives in China, big Bristol Rovers fan so gets his football fix by watching his local CSL side. Always tells me the standard is not much better than a lot of teams Rovers play week in week out, some of the Chinese players lack very basic skills and the numerous journeymen Brazilians and the big money signings that go there are visibly frustrated when their team mates just can't do the basics. He reckons apart from the fans that go to the stadium the interest in the Chinese league among the rest of the country is minimal. they prefer to watch the European leagues and a few signings ain't going to change that.

Hope we offload a few of our deadwood to China. I'm thinking:

Yaya £20mill
Mangala A portion of prawn crackers

Seems fair.

They want Wooney too. With him they are guaranteed he wont get any locals pregnant.
