Don't worry about chumps league,it's peanuts anyway towards what we've got coming in from sponsorship deals.
Sponsors pay money to be featured at Champions League games, you know, That's why we are set to have more sponsors than Newcastle for ex.

What happened to the sponsors that were supposedly queuing up to sponsor different parts of the new training ground/academy?
Well they need to be seen first which is we we got ourselves a lighting partner.
It could be lights out now if we don't qualify for the CL.
These deals are quite glossy but it doesn't take the shine away from the fact we have underperformed on the pitch.

I think the Champions League will net us around 60million this year. These two Chinese sponsorships will be for a couple of million each at the most. Not having the CL money will leave a huge dent.
what about the Chinese investment in the stake they bought from the Sheikh? Lighten up will ya. Sorry.I've no doubt they feel a bit of so called good news is needed right now but for me, they have got it wrong and its the last thing most of us could care about right now.

I don't think capital is every going to be a worry for us mate with the owners we have! The issue is revenue, the previous poster said that the CL revenue will be peanuts compared to sponsorships. As this thread is about two Chinese sponsorships, I think it's important to point out these small level commercial partnerships are actually peanuts compared to CL revenue.
