There used to be a gorgeous chippy at Maine Road. An old bloke did the frying and his wife used to serve. He never helped served no matter how big the queue was, and it got pretty long. Great chippy.

I’m in Oz, managed to get me and the lad to the Brighton game two seasons ago and first thing we did was get to the chippy opposite the south stand. I don’t remember it being there 20years ago but it was mint. Cheese and onion pie chips and curry for me, brought back the memories.
