Well most of the national brand stuff is meant to be garbage. Same with mass branded beer. It's just meant to easily made and consumed. Since it's a huge country. There are parts of U.S. that don't really feature chocolate. But every part of the US is known for a confectionary of some kind. The key is finding what areas features first class local products.
