Always a dangerous assumption. I'm sure Arsenal fans thought much the same last year. No game is ever a certainty, you'd think City fans would understand this more than most.

The Liverpool game. A sustained FA cup campaign could damage our league chances. My view is that if we beat Liverpool 3-0 on Weds we win the Carling Cup without further stretching the squad. If our 3rd round game was away to, say, Chelsea this would be a no brainer.
