So over one result your confidence is sky high? Lol, If you won another cup im sure the players would have better self belief and not crumble under pressure, which is something they occasionaly do.

Our confidence is high because of the overall season. We've been battering teams, including you, 6-1 if you can't remember. Crumble under pressure ? Not this season fella. You won't see us with our heads down getting shafted 6-1 at home. As for winning another cup, I'm quietly confident of winning one this season, maybe two. The future is blue.
Dont get me wrong but there is still a chance you wont win anything this season, in that case, would the confidence still be there in your opinion?

just wanna know the opinions of proper City fans instead of being fed media shit

City fans don't take anything for granted but consider this.
We have a better team and a better squad than anyone else in the Prem. The players are young and hungry.
The manager is young and hungry with a proven track record.
We are being financially backed by some of the richest and cleverest men in the world.
We are poised to have a great season but if we end up with nothing then in the grand scheme of things it's a minor hiccup. We aren't going away.

I know one thing, I wouldn't swap our team for any other in the Prem, including that collection of overrated twats and over the hill misfits at the swamp.

The Liverpool game. A sustained FA cup campaign could damage our league chances. My view is that if we beat Liverpool 3-0 on Weds we win the Carling Cup without further stretching the squad. If our 3rd round game was away to, say, Chelsea this would be a no brainer.

This. Our priorities from here out should be:

League

Europe (we have to get up into the second pot)

League Cup (we are too close not to finish this out)

Last year trying to compete in Europe, the league and the FA Cup should have cost us our champions league spot. Arsenal and Spurs basically gave us third place when we deserved 4th or 5th.

Talk of a domestic treble is way too early. We simply don't have the squad depth to pull that off at this point in my opinion, unless Porto knocks us out of Europe.

A single trophy and at least 2nd in the league is good enough for this season.

we are one tie away from wembley in the CC

so that's the one

but beat the rags sunday as well

Personally ill take a win over the rags, a loss to Liverpool and a loss in the F.A cup 4th round. Beating the rags is a must.

If come Wednesday evening were out of the FA Cup but won the first leg against Liverpool then yeh I'd be disappointed being out of the FA Cup especially by being beaten by United but I'd be happy in a whole that we have one hand nearly on another cup.

The main priority for me though is the Premier League.

Hah! Yeah I tend to look at things from a long term perspective. I do think in 2-3 years we will be CL champs. Does that help?

Which would you rather win?

The Fa Cup 3rd rounder against United?

Or

The Carling Cup Semi Final against Liverpool?

If we beat Liverpool we'll likely win another Trophy, Palace/Cardiff should be a walkover in a final.

If we beat United we'll have won 3 out of the last 4 against them, and confirm that we are the better team.
Very arrogant attitude

For the record, win against dippers
