Sobering first half for the folk who think our U18s should be in the first team squad. Literally men against boys

Fail to see the benefit of these friendlies, the players look out of their depth against a physical and pressing Chorley team.

Defense have been poor so far, a lot of mistakes and panicking and half the players look like they don't want to be there now.

Hopefully a stronger second half to boost morale and belief

Chorley start their league season this weekend, definitely fitter but the defending has been comical, especially the o g., chipped the keeper from the left touchline.

Was in the bar for their first goal so can't comment on that, but the other three were totally avoidable. The 4th in particular I cannot explain why the defender would hit it so hard towards his own goal. Not the goalies fault but a bit of common sense, use your hands to stop it going in, if the ref gave an indirect free kick that's preferable to conceding. Just bizarre.

Have looked comfortable on the ball at times without creating much.
