I just hope there's enough people in their seats for Dryers applause in the 45th minute. Usually half the grounds gone to queue up at that time. Massive thankyou to all of you that have donated, what wonderful people you are X

It was pal. Just a shame their goal came seconds before, then the VAR was going on, seemed to cause a bit of confusion, but a brilliant applause when it got going. RIP Dryer X
I was watching it and yes it went on during the time VAR was deciding if it was off or onside so to someone not knowing about the tribute it would have been puzzling. Most times like this the commentator is aware of what's going and mention it, but even if he did, he wouldn't have checked his notes to comment when waiting for the decision

Yes, there was too much going on in the game at that point to get the 100% attention of the commentators unfortunately.

Saw something on the screens as we were clapping but I can't see that far these days (from the very top of SS3)...

what was it showing? The crowd?

Friends were there today and gave me the live link. A person I didn’t know but knew of through them.

A very emotional service. The club did well with its condolences and what they’ve done for the family. His mate read out about 25 tributes from Blues from past and present who knew him. It really was a lovely, lovely service.

May I ask what that reference was? I heard it during the service said by his friend, relayed by him for numerous Blues.
It was a karaoke song on holiday. Dawns knock 3 times. He had the audience in the palm of his hand. Funny as fuck! Always the life n soul of the party. The world's a worse place now.

The stories definitely made me smile. I had two very close friends there who I’ve known for decades, who are both devastated by his passing. They know I’m a Blue and one of them gave me the link details for the viewing. I knew his face but not the man. I’m glad I witnessed that today to see what a popular, funny and good person he was.

But to quote one speaker, I wish I hadn’t.

If only he'd of realised how loved he was. It's devastating pal. Absolutely makes no sense whatsoever.

Thought of nothing else all day. Infact when those two friends had posted an out his passing a few weeks ago, I couldn’t understand it then, although that’s just looking at his and his partners Facebook.

Everything looks easy from the outside. One can only wonder what people are going through to think that is the answer. More often than not, too, they are very much loved and popular people. As I say, I didn’t know the man but whatever it was that drove him to this, I hope he’s at peace. I also hope those he left behind can find peace and happiness going forward in their lives.

Cheers L.B. Respect my friend. CTWD.

If you don’t feel you can talk to a family member or friend then get straight to your GP. It’s absolutely dreadful that suicide is such a big killer of younger men.
Totally agree and massively overlooked, because it’s male. If suicide amongst women was even as remotely high, there would be a national campaign promoting awareness and prevention of it. Men are completely overlooked, it’s a disgrace
