One of the worst refs out there. Bobbins.

Strangely I think he's one of the best, he's not a "look at me" referee, he lets the game flow, he uses common sense, usually warns a player before showing a yellow card, generally when he referees you don't notice him, that is a plus for me.

Today however....

Numerous times he gave free kicks when we got the ball, and Dzeko was pushed in the back so many times and got nothing. Their goal came from a corner that should have been our free kick. Wasn't great, wasn't awful, but a little bit of a homer.

He was terrible at Newcastle, definitely a "homer" that day.....maybe I just remember his shite games!

Completely agree with you, he's a more than compentant ref and used to be one of my favourites, but the last few games he's ref'd us he's been a bit iffy to say the least...then again perhaps I'm reading too much bluemoon to get a proper opinion

Thought referee was fine, some poor decisions against both sides (Boeteng won a few soft free kicks, and Dzeko harshly penalised on several occasions).

Not every referee is out to get us FFS.

it's not always the ref's fault that we don't win.

Your joking right, NC could of stabbed dzeko in the penalty area and he would of give them a free kick for simulation. He was beyond a joke

Foy was fucking abysmal, as per usual.

They did nothing for 90 mins other than play the player instead of the ball yet constantly got away with it whilst Foy was seemingly more than happy to blow whenever one of theirs decided to hit the deck.

The foul against Dzeko near the end when he clearly took the ball was the iceing on the cake for the biased cheating twat!

I thought Foy was poor today BUT he was not the reason we played poorly and nearly got dumped out of the cup.

I too thought he was pretty poor. But I don't think he was too biased towards County, he just seemed to want to blow his bloody whistle every 30 seconds or so: just didn't seem to want the let the game flow.

We were quite ordinary, I thought. Nothing special, nobody really stood out (except Micah, on occasions), and the less said about our midfield the better: slow and ponderous and totally lacking creativity. Got better when Silva came on, but not a lot.

It's funny how whenever we have to play an alehouse team (Stoke, Everton, lower league teams in the cup) we get either Foy or Walton every fucking time, cos the pair of them never blow for anything. The opposition could have Jack the Ripper playing for them and Foy would turn a blind eye
