I used to listen to Moyles every morning, until Chris Evans started the breakfast show on Radio 2. Evans is a genius !

Evans is off at the moment, and I can't stand listening to the Irish bloke who's covering for him, and I've been listening to Radio 4 on my drive into work !! It's quite good
surly you're just following the natural descent in to old age

Whats after Radio 4?

Death I think

Was driving down to Banbury last week and decided to stick radio one on. Now, I've never been a fan of R1, but the drivel they had on that breakfast show was just an abuse of BBC money.

I didn't even realise it was Chris Moyles' show until the news about his departure broke. Seemed to be about 6 if them on the show, of which Moyles was easily the quietest, and they literally spent almost an hour trying to get a made up name to 'trend' on Twitter, and add up various numbers live on air. Pathetic. Good riddance, time for some big changes if that show wad anything to go by, Moyles just one of several poor points for that station, imo.

One of the longest serving breakfast hosts in history says goodbye to Radio 1 - been a great show over the years and will be weird not to have him on air in the mornings, Good luck to whoever has to fill his boots as i doubt they will achieve the success he did, i will be heading to Radio 2 in the mornings.

Cue the ... Good riddance, hes a c*nt, hes a fat prick etc...

Moyles has outstayed his welcome by about 10 years. The man's a prick, good to see him gone along with 'non-Comedy' Dave and that rag twat Chappers.

Radio 1's demographic is 18-30 year olds. How they thought Moyles, who is 38, represented the yoof of today is beyond me.

I'll miss the show.

I used to catch about half an hour a day as I was driving from work etc... I thought it was a good laugh.

Good luck to the team for the future.

Had to listen to him at work the other day and thought...he talks too much but seeing as the music they play is rather shite that is a good thing.

Maybe he has outstayed his welcome, maybe he isn't as funny as he thinks he is but he has done well to last so long.

Compared to the vacuous tart that follows him he is a genius of the airwaves though.
