Christmas dinner preparations

Anyone started their prep yet, I'm currently working on the gravy.

lamb, gammon, full trimmings selection of veg 2 types of spuds, home made demi from stock and chocolate and sticky toffee puddings made from stratch sauce anglaise.

The wife put the sprouts on back in september, I think they'll be done in time for tomorrow.

My prepping will start with me watching my wife getting it all sorted and then she will make it all while I observe to make sure it’s done right . Very stressful day indeed .

I’ve got to lug about 15 beers and 2 bottles of wine into and out of a taxi then get pissed whilst my sister and her husband make a 4 course dinner. Less stressful than last year when my mum came to ours for dinner. I had to order a curry then dish it all out ffs

Shame I didn't pay attention last year. They tend to use marshmallows round these parts, too sweet for me. Will give that a go maybe next Christmas, ta.

Got up this morning and made a spinach lasagne for the grass eaters on Boxing Day.
Will lob it in th’oven with some home made sausage rolls, garlic bread, honey garlic meat balls, baked Brie and other shite.
Going up north tomorrow for turkey and a few beers in the sex pond.
