We watched the original Miracle on 34th street the other day. for a film from the 1940's its surprisingly on point with how things have gone ( the court vs Santa, Parents treating kids like adults etc etc ).

we also watched Last Christmas, really enjoyed that one.

"Gremlins" for the win.

I've watched a fuck ton of Christmas films since early November from "Black Christmas(1974) to loads of cheesy American tv movies. I've needed it after nearly 10 mths of shielding. I've always loved Christmas and it's really helped my mood the last 2 mths.

Bloody love Christmas!

Silver Linings Playbook
Catch Me If You Can
The Mothman Prophecies
Lethal Weapon
Collateral Beauty
Love Actually
Home Alone
Joyeux Noel
Green Book
The Man Who Invented Christmas
BBC’s A Christmas Carol (2019 miniseries)
The Christmas Chronicles
Klaus
Home Alone 2
The Polar Express
Disney’s A Christmas Carol

Also got recorded from the BBC over the last few years:
Reindeer Family And Me
All Aboard! The Great Reindeer Migration
All Aboard! The Sleigh Ride

And also a good one to watch to remind us what Christmas and celebrations at this time of year are all really about is the first episode of Brian Cox’s Wonders Of The Solar System, “Empire Of The Sun”.
