Unfortunately, just like Babycham, Advocaat (another footy favourite) and Harvey's Bristol Cream - Christmas drinks have moved on...

No way will I touch Southern Comfort, drank half a bottle in the 70s, I was out of it for days, can’t stand the smell of it.

When I was 16 I took my cricket tour deposit down to pay and one of the older blokes told me the club record was 24 Bacardi and cokes and being a twat I said I would beat that easy. Needless to say I got fucking hammered beating a record that never existed and still cannot stand the smell of it nearly 40 years on

Just go in that Heron foods shop it's absolutely crazy walk out of there shaking my head in disbelief at how little I've just paid for my shopping. They do this x-sell frozen stuff brownies doughnuts cookies cinnamon rolls its all like a quid and the quality is actually top.

They have different offers on all sorts every day. They had the big innocent smoothies that are over 4 quid in most supermarkets for £1.49 the other day, I've got Ben & Jerry's for 2 quid before, bottles of Fanta for 39p.

Not for me. I still get a bottle or two of advocaat every Christmas. One to drink as is and I make snowballs with the other. Lovely stuff but only ever drink it in December.

I can’t stand whiskey.. but thats from being a lot younger and raiding my mums drinks cupboard.
I also , still at a young age, passed out at a party of hers on red wine…. Didn’t have the same negative longterm effect…

For the roughnecks among you Morrisons are currently selling slabs of 18 Artois tinnies for £13. Non too shabby.

Not bothering with the Baileys until the retailers come to their senses and reduce to a tenner which they will. For baileys to work it has to be poured gently over ice and then lovingly sipped. It's not for everyone mind as class cannot be bought.
