God will smite them
British Churches for British people....most of whom can't be arsed with the horror that is organised religion. Not sure why setting fire to mainly stone buildings is a buzz for some (other than the potential for financial gain when the apartment block goes up). I imagine it gets quite complicated if there's a graveyard within the church grounds.
I was at the opening of the Embassy Homeless village in Manchester on Monday night, google it if you need to see what’s gone on there.100% correct.
Lived in Radcliffe late 70s to late 80s. Handsome church that, not that old IIRC (1850s?), but a nice spot. That estate around the back always seemed a bit rum though… :)I grew up right next to a big fuck off church and it was our estates football pitch, along with the factory car park.
There was a big tree that we'd hang a rope swing off and play games with knives.
The church tower has 4 clock faces and r kid left me dangling at the same height as them on a rope pulley Fred Dibnah has left up while he went for a pint..
St Thomas's, Radcliffe
Or did someone say 'Jehovah' :)York Minster cathedral fire was supposed to have been started by a bolt of lightning hitting the gaff, allegedly sent by the Good Lord himself after the church voted to have women Priests.
I will check the date later when i take the mutt for a run aroundLived in Radcliffe late 70s to late 80s. Handsome church that, not that old IIRC (1850s?), but a nice spot. That estate around the back always seemed a bit rum though… :)
Maybe folk are waking up to the fact that churches represent not enlightenment and sanctuary, but control and exploitation.
Burn the lot, I say.
Religion is a stain on the human race. Not a single religion can uphold its own impossibly high moral standards because it is being run by immoral beings.Does the lot, also mean Mosques and Synagogue's?

Agree fully Mr Soul, however ever so careful with your "burn them all down" shenanigans as Lucy Connely got 31 months for her similar exiteable rhetoric. Just saying like .. ..Religion is a stain on the human race. Not a single religion can uphold its own impossibly high moral standards because it is being run by immoral beings.
Surely they’d be burning their own churches and the UK satanists would be burning ours…Us Satanists are always getting the blame.

Hopefully not the one true Catholic religiousy ones .. because that would be beyond sacralidge! Et cum spirito sanctus, aka the nicene creed affirmation of the holy spirit in Bach’s sacred masterpiece. It's only certain churches you'd get jail for saying "Burn them down".
