Only rags not from Manchester tend to say it to me. Only one ever from Manc has said Citeh to take the piss out of me, what he didnt realise is I'm not from Manchester and can pronounce City, then I took the piss out of him taking the piss of his own accent.

To be fair, if a mancunian says City, it does sound a lot like Citeh. So when I say City they are correct. The muppets from Cockneyland, Denmark, Timbucktoo wherever obviously don't have a Manc accent, so they find it funny that on the whole we do. Not mind kind of humour, but there you go..

So They are basically saying that 'This is OUR City', so in that context I'm Citeh and proud

If you're from the south central side you might and edging up to the Salford border. We North Mancs say 'Citti' and not in the Italian way 'Chitti.
