.........don't buy one (particularly the base model) if you're doing long distances.

My car is in for repairs (somebody drove into it whilst it was parked and didn't leave a note) and I've had one of these as a 'courtesy' car.

It takes forever to get anywhere because you're unable to overtake anything. Yes you can cruise at 70 but if something is going 60 on the motorway then you're stuck behind it.

Also, it's like an oven - you can direct one of the air blowers at your hand on the steering wheel (getting a numb hand) and the blower in the middle cannot be redirected and just blows onto the rear view mirror.

It's not even that economic!

Although, if you got a decent(-ish) specked model then it could be ideal for inner-city driving.

Sorry - rant over

I had an Aygo, which is pretty much the same car just Toyota and it was brill for inner city and nipping about, Long distances were shite though, you feel every corner, it's like a fucking boat journey.

We've got a Peugeot 107 which is pretty much the same as the C1. We're really happy with it apart from the lack of air con. Its really cost effective, quite nippy and quite fit in the smallest of spaces!

....oh yeah, and it's red!

I should have guessed a woman would be in favour of one ;) - not you Philbo as Toyota are a totally different build quality (the wife has a Yaris and I'm pretty impressed with it).

I'm on my 4th car now and every one has been a Toyota. Just brilliant to drive. I have a Corolla now and it's great. My dad has an Avensis and it's really nice inside, and my mum and sister both have Yaris each and they love them!!

my Mrs got a new C1 (Rythmn) in sunshine yellow in Feb and she loves it !!

admittedly she rarely goes any distance in it but it only cost her £6500 brand new and does 60 mpg , is £120 a year to insure fully comp, (Group 1) and will be £20 to tax next year!!!

Our Peugeot is yellow. The Peugeot yellow is so much brighter than the Citroen yellow.

yeah it's a little brighter shade of yellow - still you can hardly miss either of them

btw the C1 , Aygo and the 107 are exactly the same car with the same engine etc

Aygo = best though!!
