City’s last penalty at Old Trafford

The early days of the Premier League are absolutely insane in terms of shit/biased officiating.

In the last few seasons, there's been a slight bias towards the home team in awarding penalties, but you could definitely argue that this is fairly natural. The last five seasons have shown a home/away split of: 58/40, 58/45, 64/60, 47/45 and 54/49. So basically marginally more likely to get a penalty at home.

In 1992/93, it was 45/16. Three times as likely to get a penalty as the home team. Loads of other seasons, home teams got twice as many penalties as away teams.

Had a ticket for the Stratford paddock but swapped with a rag at work who somehow had one for our end. As mentioned above Whiteys sitter ..... had to wait another 16 years to put that rigbt.

In fact its been so long those mullet haircuts have come back around in fashion for the youth
