City’s New Kits

I rang them, tried to do just that, and was informed that would put me later in the fulfilment queue, meaning it probably wouldn’t arrive until October.

I just decided to wait, since it is meant to be a gift. No desire to make another purchase, though.

Puma and/or their affiliated retailers are really dropping a bollock with this, though. It’s literally a screen print cotton t-shirt and they seemingly couldn’t even remotely scale production to meet demand (which will see them lose at least some sales).

This isn’t a good situation for you but it probably reflects the huge increase in merchandise sales experienced by the club since we achieved the Treble.

Oh, it absolutely does reflect that. But it also reflects a real production capacity deficit within Puma’s operations that shouldn’t exist.

I am not that bothered, really, despite my posts. I am more discussing as a cautionary tale for others that may be considering ordering and as an interesting situation that has developed.

I'm guessing we'll need to wear it at Burnley, so should we expect it to be out next week ahead of that?

The mail order club shop has been abysmal for a couple of years. It took me four months to receive my order two years ago. When I'd inquire about my order, I'd not get a response. I suppose it's better in that regard.
