Got to say, this season’s home kit is a proper banger!

A sash has been a ‘City’ thing since the 70s (even if I’ve never liked them being red+black), and I’ve always fancied one for the home kit.

I hope this is the start of us having a sash on our sky blue home kits every now and again.

Saw some crackers as concepts when it was rumoured we would be having one on this season’s kit. It works well like this^ with it being like a beam of light, and it would also work faded into the strip in sky blue (a bit like the ship was on the maroon away kit last season) or as a solid white sash.

Class!

For people having a go at Puma be thankful we've not with Adidas who are producing THREE different versions of home kits for clubs this season.

Ciaran Carlin(who is a City fan) has done a brilliant video on this. Well worth a watch

Here’s what Adidas have done with United and Liverpool’s kits this season:

At least ours are bespoke, even if sometimes they’re rubbish designs.

I sorta like the idea of different versions of a new kit. I usually prefer v-neck and a bit of bagginess. But other people may not be as muscular as me so might prefer a fitted look and a round-neck. Making them vastly different in price for roughly the same quality seem crazy though, especially when you can imagine that the cost of making them probably resulted in the same sized grain of rice for the youth-development-labour-professional.

Very good video ,
At the moment it seems football going only one way and that’s for the tourist markets who will happily spend £120 for a kit :-(
The only thing we locals can do is not cave into the marketing crap they give us , at the the end of the day the home kit is always blue and the away and third are mostly crap anyway .

Quick question not sure if allowed but where are people getting their kids kits from? My 6 year old daughter would love a kit but can’t warrant the official club prices any help would be appreciated

Just got the new home shirt. Think it looks great, but I really don't know why Puma uses different shades of blue on the front and back of the shirt? The mosaic kit from a couple of years ago also consisted of two different-looking halves that were stitched together.

Was in Dublin earlier this week and saw someone wearing the Bohemians-Oasis kitm it looked cool as fuck. City missed a chance here. Tempted to get one anyway
