That first Umbro home shirt was perfection (but a hard no to the white socks!)
Though closely followed by last season’s tbf which was a lovely shirt

It was the material. A one off luxury! Pity that badge was on it and those white socks were awful.

It was simply gorgeous. I had Martin Petrov on mine. And left it in a hotel room drawer in Boston while hurriedly packing for a flight I was running late for . . . never to be seen again :(.

I do like the new (and older) badge better than the screaming eagle. I do think folks get a bit too bent out shape about socks . . . but white shorts are a must and should ALWAYS be worn at home sooooo . . . I suppose we can revisit the "City should always have the same home identity" argument (shirt/shorts/socks). Personally my favo(u)rite are the light blue with white hoops from 11-12, or any of the light blue with narrow maroon stripes on the turnover.
