I think Big Mal took the design with him when he went to Palace? I remember , before that, Palace having a kit that had a verticle stripe, maybe white shirt with blue and maroon verticle stripe ? I can picture steve kember wearing it .....probably

Yeah. We've had several diagonal sash shirts over the years. I think Palace were the first club to wear one though.

No, we were the first. This was Palace kit at the time. big Mal copied ours in 1974
