I haven't looked, but I thought that was the date Haaland arrived? I'm sure the date he officially signs would be the confirmation date, not when he arrives?
 
I'm one of the few that's not overly enamoured
I don't get the maroon on the shirt and that ship looks like a Blue Peter badge
At least we'll be wearing white shorts

At the end of the day it's not fucking difficult to design a sky blue or Cambridge blue shirt with white collar and cuffs and a pair of white shorts

I'm very much a fan of dark socks, but if the compromise is that the shirt and shorts are as described above, then yes, fuck about with white, sky, dark and hooped socks

Our owners are trying to build an instantly recognisable brand and no other top European club plays in sky shirts, white shorts and dark socks
Let's make it ours

It’s Cambridge blue.
 
I think it’s a great kit. If you hear anyone who doesn’t get the significance of maroon to City tell them to have a look at this piece I posted back in November of the consternation when maroon was replaced by red/black stripes:

I’ve seen some on social media question why maroon. Truth is it’s City’s traditional away colour and has been used for numbers on shirts, trim on shorts and on socks of course.

Yes it’s another great and quite emotional piece of work by the club. Family must be immense proud and rightly so

Pointless trying to educate them on social media. I’ve seen it be called the Aston Villa kit, so Grealish can settle, and that it’s actually red so we have a chance of winning the champions league.

On the wind up of course, but you can’t reason with, or educate morons like that.

Great read, particularly the scarf fella, though in fairness 30/- sounds a bit steep for a scarf to me!
