City’s New Kits

This is the first match day shirt I have bought in decades ( I did buy the 125 shirt )

I bought the home shirt for around 15 quid and the Aguero 93:20 for around a tenner. Look spot on to me and saved over a 120 quid.

I cant afford 70 quid for a footy shirt

This all over.

Pompous pricks who are demanding we buy kits from the official sources dont get that not everyones situation is the same.

I got the home kit for my daughters this year for around £30. The official ones would have been over £100.

They arent that bothered about City (though they support us) and they dont wear the kits that much.

For me, its not a case of picking between the 'dodgy' shirt and the 'real' one. Its just whether they get the dodgy shirt or i dont bother, because at the real prices it just isnt worth it.

Agreed.

I buy from City, Puma or Fanatics when it drops below 50 as that for me is as much as I'm willing to pay. I have no kids and I have the disposable income.

Any time someone wishes to look into using DHGate, I will help them to find a dependable store ive used for other shirts. Do what works for you.

Guess I am in the minority but I love this and don’t much mind the back.

Already have the home shirt (best shirt we have had in awhile) and will probably pick this one up, as well.

Wouldn't it be nice if kits lasted two seasons? Change the home kit in the even year, and the away kit in the odd year. The third kit should only be produced as a true clash kit. E.g. home/away colours cannot be combined with different shorts or socks etc. Novel idea. Kits that last longer and have quality that justifies prices.

This is what Brentford are doing

Playing this season in last seasons kits

There should be a best before date or something similar on kits

I like it as well. The back is a bit "meh", mind. But in comparison to some of the monstrosities we've had in recent years, it's not bad at all.

I'll be buying mine from DHgate, probably get the home shirt and the away shirt for me and a home shirt and the 9320 shirt for the wife, all 4 for less than the price of one shirt from official outlets.
Maybe if the club let you add a shirt to the price of your season ticket and pay it off monthly then i might go official, until then finances will dictate I'm a cheap bastard.
