Heard someone say yesterday that Oasis deserved a ‘thank you’ as they fought our corner when we were crap.

There’s no doubt that they did but so did Ricky Hatton. Hope we don’t bring a tribute kit out for him next with a massive pair of boxing shorts!

There were thousands of fans who fought our corner when we were rubbish by keep attending the games. I don't subscribe to this myth that because they are 'celebrities' these fans are better than the ordinary ones who stuck by us through thick and thin and thin and thick.
They are all worth the same acknowledgement. IMHO

And if you believe one of bluemoon's best posters - LongsightM13 - which I am inclined to do, Noel spent quite a few of his mid-teenage years mocking City fans in his local pub on matchdays whilst proudly wearing his Celtic top.

I love Oasis and Noel Gallagher has been the musical voice of huge parts of my life but this idea grates on me a bit as well.

It looked worse in person. The main part of the shirt looked like it used to be white but then had been used to clean the gents floors, and the blue has a green tint to it. No redeeming feature in my opinion.

I hope we never wear that again but fear that won't be the case.

First time last night I actually saw the new kit and first impression ... not a CITY kit and looks like a child of 7 designed it.

I kept looking at Inter kit during game and thought ...wow, thats a classic kit.

At home we play in Blue .....not ferking pinks, yellows, golds and whirly ferking designs..
