Under Peps reign city have dealt incredibly well in the transfer market, showing a financial gain on players bought and subsequently sold in his period as Manager of our club.

Pep joined City in the 16/17 season and in this time city have made a €73m profit according to transfer fees paid and received on transfermarkt.co.uk. Turning a cost of €242.24m to a value of €315.4m a profit of €73.16m.

I have excluded players bought before Pep came to the club and therefore excluded the same players from any loss or gain from their particular sale during Peps reign. I have excluded academy players who have made a large substantial gain for the Club.

Overall I would expect to see a loss when Pep does leave but since most of the players bought in during his time with us have been successful and will have had long and successful careers with us, winning importantly trophies. The price will be relatively cheap for the amount of success the club has achieved in his time here. The media who think we are a wasteful club should look more closely at the truth.
