City 3 - 1 Barcelona - Post match thread :-)

He didn't book messi when he did dive in the box,no contact at all, just told him to get up,that was a decision he took,i believe, because of who the player was,he had no problem booking sterling, also begs the question why can the guy behind the goal ever see anything? they miss practically everything in every game,it's not surprising people think the game is fixed
Looked to me like there was contact on Messi, I don't think it was a penalty because the ball was played first but I don't think it was a dive.
How Busquets stayed out of the book as long as he did though I have no idea he was persistently fouling and stopping us playing. Thought Neymar was bad as well.

Glad you enjoyed it,nerve wracking for us lol,how are Torino getting on?,just caught the first half of your last game

I can imagine. Stunning game, me and my son were amazed watching. Hope you destroy juve like that in case you play against them. We got just 2 points in the last 3 games vs lazio inter and udinese, after 3 straight wins. We have 2 easy games now, I hope we do better.

I see Spurs got beat at 'home' again. Strange. After beating us you'd thought they'd get a lift, but instead they're having a really bad run of form and results. Just the opposite of what you'd expect. I hope City get a lift from the Barca game, and it doesn't work the opposite way. Guardiola should make sure players know that this is the start and the hard work has to be repeated again and again

Obviously just 1 game but in the context of where the team has come from in regards to continental football this to me this is a defining moment. Finally you must be regarded as genuine European elite. (Along way to go still in this campaign but for me you have arrived).

Just an observation from a neutralish Melburnian that is really enjoying it from a distance.

I can't work out if you are a blue. Instead of using 'we' you say 'City' and when all blues are deliriously happy you bring (possible) negative points. If you are a blue then have a day off and enjoy the moment - this really is a most special result. If/when we win this competition please make sure you remove your belt and shoelaces ;-)

Are you a City or a Victory fan? If the former you will be over the moon with the last two results in the Derbies. otherwise it will be doom and gloom. I watched both games while over in Aussieland last couple of weeks.

City. Last couple wins have been great. We as a team are still a work in progress but we are miles ahead of where we were pre takeover.
