Maine Road.
Blackburn were good at the time and favourites

City 0-2 Blackburn at half time

City won 3-2

I was so young but i have a memory of being in the Kippax, we equalised and it was going mental…as it all calmed down and we turned around to face the pitch the 3rd went in over the keeper in the Umbro Stand end - think it might have been David White via deflection?

The only time i have ended upside down celebrating a goal

Anybody else there or rememer this?
Can’t remember the date or find any video’s!!!!

think it was 1st season in PL and if my memory serves me right we fancied ourselves as Shearer was out for them, and we found ourselves 2-0 in first half, Blackburn had been a bit of a bogey team for us, sure they beat us a few times we were in 2nd division (including day of Hillsbrough) , this may have been 1st time I saw us beat them.
 
Remember beating Blackburn in October 2000 under Royle it was my nieces birthday and had just met my missus. Was it 3 2 know it involved a come back sat in North Stand and went mental.
Just looked it up was 2 0, old man's memory shot to shit.
Best ever home performance against Blackburn 6 0 early eighties Derek Parlane hat trick. Hope I've got this right.

that was 99 mate, Edghill scored his 1st ever City goal
