God this game brings back memories. Was serving out in Sicily as part of the NATO defense for the Bosnian Conflict.
Anyway my mum said she has sent something in the post for me. Low and behold it was this game!!!!!! Unreal-we battered them!

Best game of football I have ever witnessed live. The game was all out attack from boith sides and for spells Spurs gave us a trouncing also.

Along with Thierry Henry and Chris Waddle, Ilie Dumitrescu performance was the best I had seen by an opposition player.

Unbelievable.

This was my first ever game. I was 7 at the time and I have such fond memories of this.
We were sat in the Kippax under one of the cranes and kept getting dripped on.

Driving to the staium I was amazed at the amount of City fans, I had only ever seen 1 or 2 in the past.

Walking round Moss Side and the Chippy and the old club shop and the fella shouting "new heart, new start" and the toilets being soaked and stinking.

God I miss that place, great times and what a game
