City accounts on bluesky

Found out that there's a way to copy over most of the people who you follow on twitter. Useful if you follow a lot of people who have also moved across. Something called Sky Follower Bridge. The person on BSky said they used it as they followed 1200 on twitter and it found about 500 of them on Bsky in about 10 mins:

I have to admit I liked discussions on blue sky.. compared to the usual "instant footy experts - just add water" on X

This is going to go the same way as Threads, already seeing alot of accounts that moved initially back active on Twitter and not Bluesky.

Blue Sky passed it's big test for a lot of us today..

There wasn't shit posting and blaming after the loss today.. just genuine respectful conversations with lots of intelligence.

I'm perfectly fine with people going back to twitter.. there's enough accounts one Blue Sky that we can have an all city feed without the bots, glory chasers, instant footy experts and idiots looking to get attention. So it will not die anytime soon..

It's a niche and enough of us like it there:

x v bluesky, like trump v harris, one for the dreamers

Actually it's not fun for you figuring out people are intolerant of Nazis outside the Nazi bar!

Call the cops! Cry some more!

But apparently the simplest explanation is:

People are leaving Twitter because it’s not fun anymore and no one is obligated to be on a platform they don’t enjoy. It’s not rocket science.
