I’m sure UEFA will hold an investigation and charge both clubs.

It reminded me of the infamous…..(if you are old enough you will rember it)

The Disgrace of Gjon was a 1982 FIFA World Cup football match played between West Germany and Austria at the El Molinón stadium in Gijon,Spain, on 25 June 1982. The match was the sixth and last game of the first-round Group 2, with the fifth game having concluded the previous day.

Due to the tiebreaker rules in the group stage, a West German win by one or two goals would ensure that both Austria and West Germany advanced to the next round. West Germany scored the only goal in the first 10 minutes of the match, which progressively deteriorated to a virtual standstill in the second half.

Despite widespread condemnation and a formal complaint lodged by Algeria – who were consequently eliminated – FIFA ruled that neither team had broken any rules.

can’t see that city broke any rules. We needed to keep the ball to go through and we did.

I was joking about any investigation. But it was clear Brugge had given up attacking. They knew they were through and so did their fans. The last 15 minutes was keep ball from City.

Brugge were only through if they ensured they didn’t concede too many more as they were ahead of Zagreb on goal difference only, and obviously Zagreb were trying to score more against Milan. That’s why they backed off us.

Also a valid point.

With PSG 4-0 up they were pretty much through as long as there wasn't a 6 goal swing with Zagreb.

We had no reason to score more and they had no reason to attack.

You sometimes see this happen at the Euros or WC in a 3 game group. It's happened before on the final day of the season where a draw has been good enough for 2 relegation threatened opponents to both stay up.

Either they've known it going into the game or they've realised it during the last 20-30 mins with scorelines elsewhere impacting the game as it did tonight.

One team were winning so kept the ball

One team knew they couldn’t concede three more so kept the ball

Sounds fine to me!

Over to you Infantino

Don't think that bent twat will be too bothered as City will inevitably get Bayern Munich. That could see BM going out.
As long as two out of PSG, Real Madrid or Barcelona make the final, that bald ballsack will be happy...
