1987, Upton Park, anyone who was there will knowI have always noticed that there seems to be a generally positive/more positive relationship between City and West ham fans than with other clubs. Just wondering if anyone knows why or when this started?

ICF.Yep, got a lot of respect for Hammers fans. Always found them ok both home and away.
Slight issue with this, says West Ham were singing Blue Moon to us, but didn't we only start singing it about 89/90ish![]()

Heard a story from the 80s that City and West Ham teamed up at Euston and gave the Cockney reds their worse ever battering. That sounds about right, think a bit of gilding the lily in the article.
Yup. That's bollocks. From what I recall, the cheeky cockerneys headed towards the city end in a rather intimidating manner.Slight issue with this, says West Ham were singing Blue Moon to us, but didn't we only start singing it about 89/90ish
