Think they have an agenda mate. It’s like they work for the club. Anyone says anything negative about the club and change the narrative. Odd. Create a thread for it in another place if you want to discuss it. Back to the clubs contempt for the locals.

There are other protest threads where the racism topic can be discussed.

I sort of agree but no one can deny Viagogo is targeted at tourists, and as soon as anyone mentions that undeniable fact they are branded as racists

It should be a hell of a lot easier than it is to pass your ticket on to a friend or family member. A lot of people, especially older fans find it very difficult and confusing and when that seat they couldn't pass on gets filled by a tourist (or somebody who looks like one) they unfairly feel the brunt of that resentment.

City's support has been international for many years.

When we're were on tour around the base of the pyramid we got the sympathy vote from fans far and wide attracted in part due to our fans loyalty, and self deprecating black humour.

Our modern era success has multiplied that situation globally.

We have black,white,brown,yellow multi faith fans which reflects the rich historical culture of our club.

Everyone is welcome at City.....in the right seat....at the right price !!

I agree. Jesus let’s not get lost. I’m saying this debate is not about racism and the term tourist is not racist as some on here are trying to imply. Let’s get back to the debate for crying out loud.

The issue is that occasional travellers from wherever are taking more and more seats and pushing up prices. Of course they shouldn’t be abused it’s not their fault it’s the club’s.

Visitors is an accurate description.

Could the club allocate a dedicated section to our 'visiting fans' in one part of the ground and provide,at a cost, the bells,whistles & creature comforts they want.

On the occasions the area is not fully sold out 48 hours afore the game put the unsold seats on open sale at (say) £25/30 ?

The club could do that with the North Stand.

Make Level 1 a tourist tier, it holds around 5,000 and is plenty big enough for that. Then make Level 2 a proper big atmosphere stand.

Instead of mixing them together in NSL2 and making NSL2 neither one thing nor the other, do it more uniformally like that.

Making sure that, the “tourists” are City fans.

But my issue with the term tourist has nothing to do with where they come from. A tourist for me is a football fan with no real affiliation visiting a football ground as a one off experience, something many of us have done. Different to the City fan that goes to a handfull of games every season, and very different to fans getting in and supporting the opponents.
Now my issue is the term 'tourist' is bandied about as a catch all for visitors in a derogatory way, and it can lead to these people being singled out at games by fans angry at other issues like where they are sat which they aren't responsible for, whether one off visitors or occasional fans from other regions.
