City Announces Global Partnership with Viagogo

If you have a bank balance of £1m, you can earn 4.40% interest on that which is £44,000 - all your City tickets paid for easily. Money gets money, and hence City would also be stupid not to cash in on this as champions.

Where it goes wrong is that this audience is unlikely to be interested if City start to struggle.
How do you avoid the tax?

Personal allowance plus ISA allowances could allow you significant scope.
ISA allowances were about £3k a year cash until the last recession, and the TESSAs before that were just above £2,200 PA before that. It is only the last decade they let you put much over £5k in them. Not much scope.

Alex is doing his best and telling us what he can. I think he is coming to the end of his City Matters stint.

He can hold his head up high. For a young lad, the courage he's had since Istanbul to stand up to the club, he deserves a lot of praise

Viagogo are selling them for less than half of what city charge for Wednesday, £28 in 9320, £24 in CB3, it seems like dynamic pricing so will go above and below city prices, the fees aren't shown without entering payment card though.

Meal in the Black Cat with the £24 ticket.

One of my other corncerns is that we’ll end with loads of tickets that aren’t actually in hospitality areas, but they will class them as hospitality

The bigger matches will be very exclusive soon, this ticketing/scamming site will price out and none SC holding City fan and completely replace them by fly by night tourists with cameras strapped to their heads.

It's bad enough to get a ticket for the top 5 games now, but it's going to get even worse.

I'll be taking part in what's being asked on Wednesday. Whether it has any impact or not we'll have to see but we, as a fanbase cannot just sleepwalk into a situation whereas in a decade or so's time, we simply do not recognise the the club anymore. Fan culture is extremely important to the overall pleasure of supporting a club and that culture is rapidly eroding because of the vision of people who've no clue or even care about such things.

My daughter is 1 year old and as parents we've always looked forward to the prospect of us going to games as a family. That's not going to happen if the current direction that the club are travelling in continues.

Are chairmen and travel secretaries of OSC branches advising their members to get involved? The OSC has a large number of match going fans and those numbers are needed to have a clear visible impact on Wednesday.
The OSC and branches need to be sharing this, they don't have to back it but they need to let members know it is happening! I've shared with my branch, everyone needs to share with theirs

Does that include Viagogos “service fee” which only pops up when you go to pay and usually doubles the cost?

I have decided that this season is my last as a season ticket holder, is it possible to transfer my ticket to a friend so it does not go back to the club ?
As long as you can trust someone it's a simple process of transferring on a match by match basis to a friend.

My lad has done this all season (young baby, work commitments & 4 hour+ drive to Manchester) and had no flack from City of course, City's R & R may change though.
