Rags hated the eagle, I liked it. The most successful badge ever, until...

No they didn't..they took the piss out of us for it..I've hated that badge since it was first used..so glad it's gone

Only badge I have really ever known. MY whole time as a football mad person the current crest was the one i knew. Having said that my Dad always hated it and so did all my older family members and every old grumpy git on here of which there are many ;)
Anyway I think the new badge looks brilliant and takes us back to where many believe we should be anyway

Yup, I feel the same. I've always thought it looked a bit shit but my first ever match was the first season they introduced this badge so I'm going to have some sentimental attachment to it.

I think I emailed the club about seven times telling them I hated the eagle badge. Got a phone call of Danny Wilson once about it (and a few other things I'd mentioned), he said he didn't see the badge changing anytime soon (that was in about 2010). So I emailed the club again about a year later saying how I hated the badge again, haha! I mentioned navy socks in those emails too, still no got my wish with those though. Maybe it's time for another email!

Have you actually seen this or a photo of it mate? I wasn't aware that it was going on the outside of the stadium, but I think it's great if it is.

lets hope we can have a club badge that's stays for good and not change it every now and then. really we should not have to change the old badge but again peter swales fucked up with the copy rights and give it away for free
