How is it going to work then , first come first served at the stop. Are you guaranteed a return seat? Thinking we can park at Macc and use the service from there.

Yes first come first served, if you buy a return you're guaranteed a seat on the way back.

Yeah but you've got to walk though Monsall to the stadium!

They should have special buses to/from Monsall/ Central Park/Etihad

The obvious route is down Kingsway, Burnage Lane, Stockport Road, Broom Lane, Mount Road, and on to the Etihad. I would definitely use it.

Doesnt sound like there will be a bus for tha route this season, but it’s a trial and could be expanded.

Seems good, but I don’t understand why they have missed out kingsway, burnage and longsight/ levenshulme. That’s the route I usually drive down.

Doesn’t seem to be many north Manchester routes either.

I wonder if these areas are where most of our season ticket holders come from.

There's a big increase in traffic through North Manchester on match days. I'd guess the Middleton/Blackley bus will be popular if advertised right.

I agree, if there’s 4 in a car, then it’s cheaper to drive and park at The Stadium for£8, as opposed to the same 4 getting the bus (min £24)

I think the pricing may be aimed more at people who go to the games in ones or twos, rather than groups of four or five.

There’s only one bus per route at the moment, so I suspect there’ll have no trouble filling them even at the current pricing.

Whenever I'm over for games, getting to the stadium isn't a problem. Staggered arrival times, see? It's getting away from the game afterwards that's the problem.

Has always been the biggest problem in my experience too.

Leaving the stadium always looks pretty staggered to me.….
