Do the Maths and explain why this would even be worth the hassle as a money maker

I’ve done a guesstimate that each bus will be taking roughly £420 in fares.

I’ve no idea how much it cost to pay a driver, hire a bus and the cost of whatever buses run on these days.

But if that figure is remotely accurate, nobody is making any great profit on it. If any.

It’s a great idea and credit to the club for organising it ,disappointed there isn’t one stop in Bolton though , We seem to be the only area in GM with nothing
Radcliffe too far away?

Such a pity the direct hourly train service Bolton to Ashton (Southport to Stalybridge) has no stop after Victoria. Only needs to be open weekends and evenings.

Yep, and I reckon they won't be full

I love this idea, the only change i would make is allowing to purchase a ticket in advance. My stop is the last before the run in to the ground, so if it turned up full I'd be SOL and then struggle to get alternative transport
That's the one problem I see. Allow people to book in advance, and that way it's easier to gauge demand.
