Good now can we STFU about a new ground its been pissing me off for months,extend yes new build no.Going to order a plaque before somone posts about ground to be demolised in 2 years and City to ground share with FCUM in Moston.
 
Does anyone know how long these are guaranteed for? Like the name plaques in the tunnel were guaranteed for 10 years, surely one day the club will rip these up and re-sell them?

How long until the bronze ones get nicked and melted down I wonder?? And you just know some little scroat will go around smashing all the glass ones!!
 
The City Circle

Before the game yesterday I went into the market stall / bar at the ground before the game and came across a stand flogging 'The City Circle'
Apparently you can pay £60 (steel), £95 (glass) or £395 (bronze) for a 'circle' that can be etched with your personal message. Oh and you and you also have to cough up another £70 for a replica disc & certificate.

The circles will then be used for: 'The words used in the four verses of the song Blue Moon will form a giant circle around the stadium. We plan to install approximately 40,000 personalised discs into slabs of granite at the Etihad stadium to make up the letters and words of the song. The Etihad Stadium is set to be transformed when thousands of supporter messages, inscribed onto individual discs, are connected in a giant circle to spell out the words in the four verses of Blue Moon'

Good marketing or a gimmick?

Absolute and total fucking rip off. City conning the gullible again. They won't sell 40000 of these, no way. They'll end up giving them away.
