the pitch was awful haha
You say that, but many players from those times walk around like cripples today because of those challenges and the way they were refereed back then. The laws of the game, and how they are interpreted, should ultimately reward skill as much as possible.Watched a bit of the Chelsea game before my feed died and i called it a day. It was only 5 minutes or so but if that game were played today, it would of been abandoned for too many players being sent off after about 15 minutes. Some brutal challenges going in from both sides, all genuine attempts to get the ball though and no play acting or moaning. refreshing to see.
Good chant of,' you're gonna get your fucking heads kicked in,' by the Chelsea faithful after we scored the second! Aahh, the halcyon days...
A slightly odd FA Cup rule of the time, if there was a colour clash both teams used their change kit.Why were chelsea wearing their away shirt at a home cup tie?
'We all agree-Manchester City are magic' was the chant!
Was a great follow-up to last night's game, this being on while the adrenalin from the win was still on a high!
Knackered for work this morning though!
You're right, I actually cheered Colin Bell's first goal like it was live, missus gave me a bit of a strange look. Was a great follow-up to last night's game, this being on while the adrenalin from the win was still on a high!
