City classics on bt sport 2 now

Good chant of,' you're gonna get your fucking heads kicked in,' by the Chelsea faithful after we scored the second! Aahh, the halcyon days...

Watched a bit of the Chelsea game before my feed died and i called it a day. It was only 5 minutes or so but if that game were played today, it would of been abandoned for too many players being sent off after about 15 minutes. Some brutal challenges going in from both sides, all genuine attempts to get the ball though and no play acting or moaning. refreshing to see.
You say that, but many players from those times walk around like cripples today because of those challenges and the way they were refereed back then. The laws of the game, and how they are interpreted, should ultimately reward skill as much as possible.

It was indeed mate, hairy, but exciting times. I noticed another good Chelsea chant at that game, 'channon is a moron, channon is a moron,' sung to the tune of the chorus,' Gordon is a moron,' from that fantastic track,'Jilted John,' by Jilted John. I still put that track on the juke box in my local when I'm feeling mischievous and want to wake the punters up!

was watching this with my dad last night, great to see what maine road was like and my dad sounding like uncle albert from only fools going on about the past :D. he was at the spurs game at home - 1978 i think it said

heard a chant ' manchester city are magic ?

'We all agree-Manchester City are magic' was the chant!

Was a great follow-up to last night's game, this being on while the adrenalin from the win was still on a high!

Knackered for work this morning though!

You're right, I actually cheered Colin Bell's first goal like it was live, missus gave me a bit of a strange look.

I'd forgotten some of those players, well their names had gone from my head, whilst others are indelibly etched in there.

Colin? Jeffries

Arthur Mann, and George Heslop, must have been close to the end of their City careers.

Will never forget Mike Doyle's tackles.

Bell was such a cultured player in those times, and made even better on pitches (beaches) like Stamford Bridge.
