the OS is a thing of beauty packed full with free contact designed specifically to make you, roger ringpiece, happy. I hardly think them asking for a vote in return was something to get irked about.
anyway this is hardly unexpected. yahoo has a huge reach and has sunk hundreds of millions into marketing. tv ads for heaven sakes. I've said before if it was getting better google results I would be using it non stop but for some reason it never shows up, maybe the design is not amenable to the bots. or maybe we just don't link to it enough on here, because bluemoon turns up in the results an awful lot.
I also think they are missing a trick by not having a straightforward page previewing each match... there are plenty of articles such as
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/2010/May/Biggest-game-of-my-life-admits-Adam" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/20 ... dmits-Adam</a>
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/2010/May/Mental-strength-is-key-to-victory-de-Jong" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news/20 ... ry-de-Jong</a>
but they'd surely do better to have one page with 'city spurs 2010 preview' in the page name and all the dates and relevant terms very prominent.
