City delivery

Just ordered similar for my Dad today - good news is that it's dispatched already, within 2 hours. Bad news is that it's City Link. They always require a signature or take it away again rather than leave with a neighbour, and their nearest depot is miles and miles from me, so usually takes me a week or so to actually get hold of it. May try and reroute the parcel I think.

I've always found Citylink to be fine in terms of leaving parcels with neighbours, in their defence.

Well, fingers crossed then this time. Can't reroute until tomorrow, but every time City Link have ever delivered to me it's always been taken back to Trafford depot, whereas Fed Ex, DHL and Royal Mail all are happy to leave with our retired neighbours who are always in.

But credit to the club - very fast processing and done everything they can to ensure delivery by Fathers Day for us late shoppers.

Nothing wrong with city link i work at the mcr south depot! Not the best but there are many worse out there

I take it back - they've just delivered to my retried neighbours :)

Wouldn't be put off by firms using city-link any more then. Used to intentionally avoid those that did.

Personally, never had a problem. If I ordered one day it was usually delivered within two days, but mine did come by Royal Mail, perhaps they use a different postal system now.

I'd been after baby's stuff for months to be told there'll be something coming out in June, now June has arrived I've been told August.

I don't think city realise how much a baby can grow in six months, anyway they've lost tons of business, now my triplets are decked out in AC Milan, England & Italy gear, my relatives just got sick of waiting.
