City Dreadful XI

Bernado Corradi upfront as lone striker please. Stuart Pearce himself offered more attacking threat.

Seaman (harsh but I don't remember seeing a terrible keeper for us (only 23) and he was well past it.
Mills
Ben Haim
Pollock
Bridge (I have soft spots for Jordan and Ball for their exploits against fake Ronaldo...)
McPointalot
Dabo
Dickson Etuhu
Corradi
Russell
Sibierski

Keith Macrae
Mick Horswill
Neil Heaney
Steve Mcmanaman
Wayne Clarke
Richard Edghill
Michel Vonk
Jason Beckford
Nigel Clough
Barry Silkman
Dragoslav Stepanovic

Manager Alan Ball

A team of utter shite

Most of the dross has been pinged and rightly so . No way should they have been anywhere near a Manchester City shirt .

But l would exempt Kit Symons , for a couple of seasons he was decent and always put the effort in . As club captain he held things together as best he could .

Kernaghan was piss poor for the money he cost . Gary Mason and the Fenton twins should never have been City players either .

Would have been tempted by the ginger Macrae and Edghill but I really felt for Edghill.

Yes he was shite but he loved City and scored the penalty against Gillingham which showed he had the balls to do so because he knew the shit he would have got if he missed.

It took a big man that day and he stood up to be counted

Stepanovic was picked as captain even though he couldn't speak English one of Big Mals brain waves.

To be fair to most of the players mentioned they cost next to fuck all.

Now the challenge is choose one on a worst value for money either fee or wages basis based on transfer values at the time we bought them.

Ill have a go.

Isaksson
Mills
Bridge
Kernaghan
Savic
Mcmanaman
Daley
Michael Robinson
Scott Sinclair

Subs...., Jo, Samaras, Corradi, Weah, Negououi, Jovetic, Rodwell.
Woah woah... what?

Both of these players have tons of quality but are just injury prone. They probably have more ability than half the players that you would consider legends. Jovetic has only just joined the club FFS, you might as well put Boateng or someone random like that.

And if you want to plop for players who where always injured, why would you go for these two over Bojinov, Santa Cruz or Michael Johnson?

Oh dear.
Please leave our old faithfuls out of this!
K. Symmons
