To be perfectly honest the Rags beating Arse 8-2 will always get the headlines. Our performance was way, way better as Spurs were at full strength, but headline writers aren't interested. Even Ferguson said it last night himself that Arsenal were so weak he knew the Rags would score. Dixon on MOTD 2 said he expected 6 goals in the game. I don't know if the press will actually say how much Arsenal actually stopped playing....it was embarrassing.

Yeah I had to double take when I heard taggart this morning....We score 5 away from home playing Barcaesque football and all the media can do is concentrate on them. Don't get me wrong,yes it was a good result for the rags,but fuck me,Barnet would have given a better performance.

Nooooooooooo! The whole emphasis is on the eight, the MANUre kids, how they've been picked for England, the fact that the record books will show it as The Arse's first team. The perspective is that Stretford beat Spuds 3-0 at home whilst we beat them down The Lane 5-1. Facts like this are totally ignored by the Rag-infested media.

The best example of the media slant towards the Rags was on MOTD2 yesterday. Rooney made a long run back for the ball after getting forward and they spoke about his desire and what a great player. Nasri did the same thing for us and Hansen quipped "look what being paid 160,000 does for you. It makes you run faster."
