Those 5's and 2's! If it's not my eyes it's my 20 year old TV!! Or was it my 50 year old TV?!
 
Really impressed with this competition and obviously with City's performance. A real opportunity to test the lads out and get them used to playing different styles and in different countries. Will be worth so much to their future development. Decent amount of English talent in the side too, not all foreign players which is nice to see as well. Good to see that whilst the EDS team may struggle due to age of players, against players of a similar age they are doing really well. A few gems in the squad too that can really be looking at moving into the first team in the near future.
 
Great omens for the future. The style of play from these lads is light years ahead of even a few years ago! Very impressive calmness in possession and awareness. And that includes the keeper!

Now if the big lads can do half as good a job tonight........!
 
Robson's a total twunt.

Disappointed to see so few English players in the side, because their technique lags behind the foreign imports.

Yet when the players are taking the ball at the back under pressure they're taking liberties, and would get caught out by bigger more physical opponents.

Then he bemoans the prioritisation of physique over technique.

Idiot.
