Wouldn't it be better having the youth games the night before? I know it would make the travelling more difficult for the away team but it seems its unlikely that many people can make afternoon games on weekdays, and even if people can they might still not want to go to 2 football matches on the same day

perfect time to have it, I will be there cant wait.
watch the Youth then the Seniors hump the German rags!! i hope

but so many people won't be able to make it because of work etc, didn't we get a couple of thousand for the next gen once? maybe against Barca? certainly a few hundred anyway

What's the deal with Ntcham? Hasnt been in the EDS or u18 sides the past few months.

I'm not sure where you're getting your info from but he played a part in all the August EDS fixtures,he also featured in the win against Plzen 2 weeks ago.He obviously isn't getting as much game time as some predicted but he hasn't gone anywhere.

I'm quite envious of the GAA in some respects. I know they are entirely different games with different fixture lay outs etc, but always thought it brilliant that you can go to see a GAA match and in your ticket price you got the "Minors" game first and then the "Seniors" up after it.

I love the idea of this EDS/U19 thing UEFA are doing. It would just be brilliant to play it as a, say, 5:30pm kick off tomorrow night at the Regional Athletics Arena and then over to the stadium proper for the first team if they could put the kick off back to 8:15pm? It would be brilliant if it was screened on Sky/BT/terrestrial whatever as well.

Bit of a logistical nightmare I guess but you can but dream.
its on eurosport

Put the main game back to 8.15! What planet are you from?
As I clearly said, I know it is not realistic and it is never going to happen. I was simply drawing a comparison between getting to see the youth teams play on the same day as the senior team a la GAA, where on the day the county plays the minors play in the same stadium first at 2:00 then the seniors play at 4:00; so for the price of one ticket you get to see both teams and have a full day out.

As I also clearly said, football is a completely different animal so not doable.

3:00pm kick off at Hyde tomorrow.

Gutted - got a conference call that clashes with it so cannot go. If anyone on here is going and has access to the appropriate kit, can you post updates for us? I know that's a bit cheeky but would be really appreciated.

How good would it be to take tomorrow off, go have a few beers in Hyde, watch the EDS, few more beers and a bite to eat then watch the mighty Blues take on the the German tax dodgers?

Uli, pay your tax
Uli, Uli pay your tax!

Fucking hate working.

I am going so will try to post an update or 2
