Not just our players/academy being poached - our “leaders” are gradually being enticed away. Deputy managers who have left for the likes of Arsenal & Leicester but now our executives are going :

Saudi Arabia have made another huge statement signing - by poaching Manchester City's top commercial executive.


Apparently this guy had been with us 12 years & is behind our record revenues.

Anyone know how badly this will affect us?

Not at all. According to some guy on the internet, Harris I think his name is, all of our commercial revenue comes from Sheikh Mansour. It's just funnelled through various companies to throw people off the scent. So we don't even need a commercial team really.

I wouldn't worry too much, these people are ten a penny. The most important skill in this role is a big phonebook. I'd worry more about replacing Pep and KDB when the day comes!

Why do we need a commercial executive if Mansour is paying all the companies to fake sponsor?

Don't really worry about replacing Pep, we've had him for 9 years and when he's gone he's gone. We won't replace him with somebody as good but then it's up to us to get the best we can and if we do we'll be just fine, probably more normal but that's okay.
