After all, Delap could be registered for the CL in the new year, but not for the under 18s.

Really enjoyable half that. City by far the better team. Some bloody good players coming through the ranks.

Great crop of kids in this team. Aside from the lads we’ve seen in first team there’s Hodge, Mcatee and Mbete all impressing tonight. Mbete looks extremely composed for his age I really like the look of him. Funny how even our youth team has a right footer awkwardly filling in at left back though.

Think Barker had a great understanding with Angelino, who helped him out defensively.
Also, only saw him play 3 times but he seemed an individual rather than a team player.
Finally, I never felt he had enough "dog" in him and wasn't aggressive enough...
Will make a good living in Scotland or perhaps the Championship though...

Barker looked a real class act when on loan with Hibs as long as he stayed fit.

Not much has been seen from him with Rangers.

Poor decision by the City keeper to charge out, a bit reckless and he left himself open .... there were two City players charging back, and might well have got to their goalscorer.

Keeper made a half hearted attempt for their goal.
Was poor for their corner just before the break too, needs to be stronger.
Overall though we look competitive.
